American Challenge Driving School has been offering Hands-On Instruction for safe driving in San Luis Obispo County since 1993. It is a very small owner/operator driving school with only ONE instructor. The instructor has over 20 years of experience as a DMV licensed driving school instructor.
Our Business
We offer one on one instruction with experienced, well-trained, calm, friendly, and patient instructors. We teach safe driving and defensive driving, giving our students not only the abilities to get their licenses but to be good, secure, and responsible drivers once they have their licenses.

Who We Are
American Challenge has a female instructor available in San Luis Obispo County for those students preferring a female. Amy was a driving instructor in Vallejo and Vacaville for 6 years before moving to Paso Robles and coming to work for American Challenge in 1997.
